Citizen Advocacy of Atlanta & DeKalb, Inc. funds are used for program costs and are of direct benefit to residents of DeKalb County and the City of Atlanta.
Following are sources of our financial support:
- First and foremost, our funding comes from local people supporting citizen advocacy as a community organization. The people of Atlanta and DeKalb hold our mission and help guide our work.
- Citizen Advocacy of Atlanta and DeKalb holds a contract with the Georgia Advocacy Office that provides financial support for portions of the work involved in recruiting, matching, and supporting our neighbors in citizen advocacy relationships.
- Community organizations, local and state foundations, businesses, professional associations, and congregations also contribute funds that help support our mission.
We are a small, local non-profit. We have just two paid staff people. Compared to other Atlanta-based non-profits we have a very small operating budget.
Your donation will go a long way in supporting the important contributions citizen advocacy makes to our community.
